As far back as I can remember I’ve been creating music. Whether it was lathering up my hair and belting out my favorite tunes by Nitty Gritty in my little corner shower in Lashburn Saskatchewan or recording my first song for my mother at the age of 6 for Mothers Day; I’ve always entertained people.  Then, seeing Garth Brooks on television for the first time when I was 11, I knew that country music would shape my future.

Over the years there have been many songs that I’ve worked on. The first song that truly resonates with me as an accomplishment is “The Man I am Inside” (the title track of my upcoming album). “The Man I am Inside” was created and inspired after finding out at the age of 19 that my father had terminal cancer and only a short time to live. At that time I had plans to record in Nashville, and if there is one thing I learned from my father it’s that you can’t feel sorry for yourself, so two months later I wrote and recorded “Who needs the Moon” and “Bring it on.” Both singles cracked the top 30 and provided me the opportunity to tour and have the great pleasure of learning from and working with many talented singers, song writers and musicians in the Country Music industry.

During my time on the road, “life” created a new path for my future. I fell in love and shortly there after was married and blessed with the greatest gifts one can imagine…… my two wonderful daughters Emma and Abi. My new responsibilities made me realize that the best thing for both my family and myself would be to step away from the road. I never abandoned my passion for music during this time I just took a break for what was most important.

Then one day in the summer of 2007 as I was driving home from work and pondering life,  I decided to call Gord Bamford. Gord gave me great advice, direction and the confidence to pursue my dream.

That brings us to today….what I’ve shared with you is just a few of the experiences that have made me “The Man I am Inside”. I look forward to giving you my all and I hope that my songs and performances will inspire you.

Sincerely,

Chad Klinger
